Simple Valve

A simple, low-cost pinch valve will be our first shared component. Instructions on how to assemble the valve and control it are included in the compressed folder.

Contact us with any issues and we'll do our best to get back to you with a solution.

3D printing

3D printing has been an useful tool in creating our custom bioreactors. The low cost of the resulting hardware could be used by DIY biologists for planning their own directed evolution experiments with continuous cultures of bacteria.

Our Ultimaker 2 has been customised using components designed by the 3D printing community, including:

Olsson block by Anders Olsson -

Olsson block compatible fan mount by "mechaMecha" -

Bearing filament guide by "Ppyromann"-

Alternative UM2 feeder by "|Robert|"-

Nozzle magazine by "|Robert|" -
